Collection: Baby Loungers & Baby Nests

Baby Loungers & Baby Nests for Supervised Awake Time

Hi, I'm Sarah, a pharmacist and mum. A baby lounger or baby nest gives your little one a soft, snug spot to lie close to you while you have a cuppa, fold the washing or enjoy some quiet bonding time. I've chosen loungers that are comfortable, breathable and easy to keep clean.

Important: awake time only

As a pharmacist, safety comes first for me. Baby loungers and nests are for supervised awake time only, never for sleep. This follows Red Nose safe sleep advice. For every sleep, day and night, place your baby on their back in a cot or bassinet with a firm, flat mattress.

  • Always stay with your baby while they're in the lounger.
  • Place it on the floor, never on a bed, couch, table or raised surface.
  • If your baby falls asleep, move them to their cot or bassinet.
  • Stop using it once your baby can roll or wriggle out.

Baby lounger or baby nest: what's the difference?

  • Baby lounger – flatter and more open, with gently padded sides. Great for tummy time and play.
  • Baby nest – higher padded sides and a deeper, cocoon-like shape that feels snug and secure.
